Well, originally, we had wanted to make a whale tent however during the construction phase our whale tent started to look more like a shark so we decided that it should be a shark.
I guess we just wanted to make a living structure that was fun and involved something that we both liked. I mean who wouldn't want to sit in a huge shark mouth for two hours?
A view through the eye of the shark! Pretty scary I must say.
The End.

I thought this project was really cool. I would have never gotten this idea. By the way how did you guys come up with this? O and i though it would have been really cool to have the team music from jaws in the backround. But other then that really cool.
I think this idea was creative. It seems like something that you could market to kids...as long as they have not seen Jaws. What color is the inside of a shark's mouth? Maybe having blankets of that color would complete the experience.

Very creative, and Unique! I'm curious too how you came about the idea of the whale. It seemed a little small, but also seemed to accommodate the two of you fairly well. I think having a full fledged shark would have been neat too, but overall I thought it was pretty cool! Reminiscent of childhood!
I thought this project was a really interesting spin on the project. The shark idea was great because it was an interesting and fun form which helped draw people to it. I would have loved to see it bigger though, but overall I think it was really nice.

I really like that you guys had such a design-heavy project, and I think it came off really well. It's really a brilliant idea AND design, I can't imagine it's easy to come up with a way to build marine life out of pvc pipe. Really, really great work. The biggest critique I have: whales are cooler than sharks, so...as it's now a shark instead of a whale, it's slightly less cool. Only slightly though. Also, it should be a robot.

This was a wonderful piece. I enjoyed the spark of whimsy in it. It remind me of the story of Johanna being eaten by the whale. the craftsmanship was well thought out and the execution of the idea is one to be admired.
I thought the shark tent was cute, adorable, and marketable to little kids. Given more time I think that it could be even better....but it was a great idea and I loved it
I pretty much loved this idea. It was incredibly simple and super effective. I agree that the music from Jaws would have been awesome, other than that it was pretty darn cool.
This tent was awesome, I really liked the idea of the ground as the "ocean" and having the shark coming out of it....with people living in it. Simple, yet workable. Very creative guys good job on this.
